I own Adventures in Babysitting on both VHS and DVD! It truly is one of the best movies of all time.

Wow – I haven’t thought about Adventures in Babysitting in *years*! I used to watch it all the time! I’d have to add Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ghostbusters, and Goonies to your list, too. I love, love, love 80’s movies!

Even though I have seen it many times, I still get pumped when Daniel defeats Johnny during the climax of “The Karate Kid”.

#5 on your list taught me some very valuable lessons. The most important one is “Don’t f*** with the babysitter”.

If you don’t already have it, I highly recommend a book that covers the teen movies of the 1980s called “Pretty In Pink”.

We could so hang out and watch movies!!! But, I don’t remember Back to School for some reason…

One of my favorite scenes in Adventures in Babysitting. “no one leaves here with out singing the blues”…

Great list Happy TT!

Great movies from the 80s, I loved anything with Molly Ringwald, in fact, I wanted to be Molly when I was a teen.

Nearly perfect list! I’d add “The Sure Thing” and “Ghostbusters” for sure, but I must have watched “Adventures IN Babysitting” 8 billion times!

Great list, some of my faves are on there too. I’d probably add Weird Science and One Crazy Summer. And I won’t even go into the horror genre, I watched ALOT of scary movies in the 80’s. ;-)
