To all you on the Gulf Coast

August 30, 2008

You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that Gustav loses steam as it heads your way. I know that there are many in the path, but I have a dear old friend Bridgette, that you can visit here. She is especially in my thoughts through the next few days.

Stay safe everyone!!!!

Thank you for your prayers, my parents live in S Louisiana and just left 30 minutes – under voluntary evacuation — going to try and beat the traffic. Thanks again!

Thanks so much, Laura. You just made me all teary eyed! Thanks for thinking of me and my family. I will update you all as soon as I can. Keep praying…..

I second this…. I have some friends out there, and I pray that everyone over there that is in the path remains safe.

Prayers are being said for everyone in Gustav's path. We are already feeling the effects here and it's not even close.

I just found your blog because of your title. That's me. Diet Coke Addict. Literally. I tried to quit cold turkey and got a headache & shakes. I'm still trying to wean myself off but it is soooo hard!

The mayor had just ordered the complete evacuation. Though I am 100 of miles away I pray for the safety of all.

My heart aches for those on the coast right now. Wherever Gustav hits, it will be rough…I hope lessons were learned from Katrina and that there isn’t the loss of life that there was 3 years ago.
