It’s Friday again! I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t be happier – especially since it’s a long weekend. I am sure that a lot of people will ask this today, but I will as anyway:
Do you have any plans to “say goodbye” to summer this weekend?
We are having some friends and neighbors over for a cookout and campfire. Can’t wait to just hang out and relax.

Nope no special plans. I think we did that last weekend. We took one last trip just to get away and spent it swimming.

Taking the kids to the zoo on Sunday. Hopefully it’s not the last nice-weather hurrah, but we’ll treat it like it is.

Nothing too special although if it doesn’t rain tons we might hit the car show in the next town over. Plus we’ve been invited to a welcome home from Iraq party. That will be pretty sweet.

I think we unofficially said goodbye to summer when my husband started school 2 weeks ago. But we’re planning to go on a hike with friends this weekend and maybe have a bbq – the last one of the year? Sad!
