As a busy family, our DVR is our best friend. Honestly, I don’t know how we managed to watch tv before without it. Sometimes, our DVR even gets full and we don’t have any more room to tape shows. Well, courtesy of the One2One Network, I learned about and awesome way to catch up on my shows that my DVR misses – Fancast.
Fancast is a FREE online site that allows you to watch the latest episodes of your favorite shows. Here are some other quick facts about Fancast:
* Fancast debuted in January 2008 and now has more than 10,000 hours of online video programming; with more than 60,000 videos available, including over 13,000 full-length shows
* Fancast is not only an agnostic online video site, aggregating tv content from more than 100 sources, but Fancast has more TV extras than any other site including: pictorials, blogs, listings, live chats and Q&A’s with stars, and much more.
* Fancast is focused on being the premier place for TV viewing on the web.
After browsing around for awhile on Fancast, I settled in to catch up on episodes of Glee. I loved it! It was a great way to watch a show my husband wouldn’t watch while he sat and played video games. I will definitely be checkout out Fancast in the future to get up to date on my favorite shows.
All thoughts about Fancast are my own and I was in no way compensated for this post as Fancast is a free site to all with an internet connection. Thank you One2One Network for making me aware of this great service!!
Most days, I won’t lie, I don’t mind that I work outside the home. Here are 5 things (in no particular order) that I like about working outside the home full time.
1. Lunch time to myself. All I have to worry about is getting myself fed. I can also run errands by myself and get them done quicker.
2. Being around other adults all day. I admit that I love the interaction.
3. A sense of accomplishment. I love how it feels when I solve a problem at work or get a compliment from someone.
4. A sort of sense of security knowing that if something happened to my husband and I was a single mom, I already have a source of income apart from him.
5. The greetings that I get from my girls at the end of the day when I pick them up.
Like I said, these are just random things I like. I in no way believe that my way is the only way – everyone has to do what works for their family. And, stay tuned, because next week you will see 5 things I DON’T like about being a working mom.
Over the weekend while screwing around quickly checking Facebook, I saw some people in my friend stream joining this 30 Day Giving Challenge. I then headed over to Keeping the Kingdom First to read more about this challenge.
I have to say, I love this idea! I am always thinking about how blessed I am and that I should do more to show my thanks and do more for others. Check it out for yourselves and make sure to come back to my site in November to see how I give back.
