Describe Your Occupation: Very challenging as one has to play multiple roles- educator, administrator, leader etc.
Tell us about yourself: I have 2 boys age 2 and 5yrs old, I love blogging, internet marketing, I do freelance writing, blog set up and cake decorating . Hobbies, rollerblading and reading.
Tell us what a typical day is like for you: Waking up at six, getting the boys ready for school and off to work. Upon return, do the housework, cook dinner, coach the kids in their homework/studies, freelance writing and blog maintenence.
What are some of your challenges? spending enough time with the kids and finishing all the projects that I have on my plate.
How do find balance in your life? Through micro managing and planning in advance.
What do you do to take time for yourself? Schedule a mom’s night out monthly. Having some me time weekly when the kids and hubs are not back from school/work yet.
Do you have any advice for other working moms?
Try to see what works for you best.. getting alternative arrangements if the current one doesn’t fit.
Do you have a favorite tool or resource that you use to help stay organized?
Google docs.. It helps to keep all my spreadsheets and stuff in place.
