As we walked down the path the leaves crunched beneath our feet. I looked up and could easily see the sky through the bare branches of the trees. The air was crisp and cool as I zipped up my coat and slipped on my gloves. The girls put down their pumpkins so that they could pick some apples from the trees. I told them to hurry up as we had to head over to the barn for the hayride. I promised them that we would take home some apples and have a carmel apple before we went home.
