What is Not Just 9 to 5?

NotJust9to5.com is parenting blog that was developed and is written by working mother of 2 little girls.  The focus is on balancing work, life, parenting, and my love for technology.

Who Am I?

My name is Laura and I was born and raised in WI.  I was married to Brian in June of 2001 and we have two little girls Riley (born in March of 2005) and Taylor (born in August of 2006).  We also have 2 dogs – Sierra and Cinnamon.

I work full time outside the home as a buyer for an electronics contract manufacturer.  I have been in my current position for 11 years.

Some of my favorite things are all things Apple, camping with the family, reading, music, Starbucks and The Office.

I can also be found at the Working Mother Magazine mom blogs and beginning my career as a freelance writer.
